About Odoo
What is Odoo?
Odoo is a set of business apps that share one database: sales, CRM, inventory, purchase, accounting, manufacturing, point of sale, eCommerce, HR, projects and more. A sale updates stock, accounting and the customer record at once. You switch on only the apps you need.
Odoo Community or Enterprise?
Community is free and open source. Enterprise is a paid subscription from Odoo that adds apps, including full accounting, Odoo’s mobile apps, hosting options and version upgrades. We’ll tell you which fits after discovery.
Can Odoo work in Arabic?
Yes. Odoo runs in Arabic and English, and each user picks their own language. We set up both where your teams need them.
Can Odoo be changed to fit our processes?
Most of it is configuration: products, warehouses, price lists, taxes and approval steps. Where that is not enough, we write custom modules in Python, kept separate from the core so upgrades stay possible. See Odoo customisation.
Can Odoo connect to the other tools we use?
Yes. Odoo has an external API, so it can exchange data with online stores, payment and shipping providers, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier and other tools. See Odoo integrations.
Can you move us from spreadsheets, another system or an older Odoo version?
Yes. Data migration is part of every implementation, whether the data sits in spreadsheets, another system or an older Odoo version. See Odoo migration and upgrades.
Projects and pricing
How much does a project cost?
It depends on how many apps and users you need and how much custom work is involved. After a free discovery call we send a written estimate broken down by phase.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the number of apps, companies and warehouses, and how much custom work is needed. The plan from the fit-gap stage gives you dates before building starts.
What happens on the first call?
We ask how you work today and what you want to change, then say whether Odoo or a custom application fits. If one does, we follow up with a written estimate. The call is free.
Will we have to change how we work?
The fit-gap stage shows what Odoo does out of the box, what needs configuring and what needs custom code. Where a process can follow Odoo’s standard, we say so; where it cannot, we configure or build around it.
Do you build web and mobile apps too?
Yes. We build web applications and mobile apps that read and write the same data as your ERP. Our How we work page shows how those projects run.
Hosting and support
Do you host Odoo?
Yes. Our cloud hosting covers Odoo, websites and mobile app back ends, with business email on your domain included.
Can you host an Odoo you did not implement?
Yes. We review the setup first so we know what we are taking on, then plan the move with you.
What support do we get after go-live?
We stay on for questions, fixes and improvements. Support is available 24 hours a day on WhatsApp, email, phone or the contact form. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT: response times] See Odoo support and training.
Who handles Odoo version upgrades?
On Enterprise, version upgrades are included in the Odoo subscription. On Community, your partner plans and runs them. Either way, we plan the upgrade with you and test it before it goes live.
How do you train our teams?
Each team learns on its own screens with its own data, in Arabic or English, so the first day after go-live looks familiar.
Working with us
Where are you based?
Our office is at Al Saraya Mall, Sheikh Zayed, Giza, Egypt. Kites Development was founded in 2018.
Do you work with companies outside Egypt?

Odoo fits most companies that buy, sell, stock goods or bill for their time. Our industries pages show how it fits manufacturing, distribution, retail, trading and professional services.
