Short-dated stock sits behind newer stock until it expires. Registration numbers and product data live in a separate file that the sales system never sees.
In Odoo every unit moves with its lot number and expiry date, so you can see which customers received a batch, and the warehouse picks the stock that expires first.

Every product tracked by lot or serial number, with expiry, best-before and removal dates, and an alert date before stock goes out of date.
First expired, first out
Odoo reserves the lot with the nearest expiry date when an order is picked, so older stock leaves first.
Batch traceability
From any lot, Odoo shows the supplier or production order it came from and every customer delivery it went into.
Quality checks
Quality control points on receipts, production or deliveries, with results recorded against the lot.
Distribution to pharmacies
Pharmacies and distributors get their own price lists and payment terms, and their orders flow straight into picking and delivery.

Can Odoo trace a batch to the customers who received it?
Yes. If products are tracked by lot, the traceability report shows every delivery that lot went into, with the customer and date.
Does Odoo make us compliant with health regulations?
Odoo records the data: lots, expiry dates, quality results and who did what. Whether that meets your regulator’s requirements depends on the rules that apply to you, and we go through them with you during discovery.
Can we sell to pharmacies and to consumers from the same system?
Yes. Pharmacies get their own price lists and terms, and an online store sells to consumers from the same stock.
