Terms of Service

These terms apply to businesses that use Kites Development's WhatsApp integration for Odoo. By connecting a WhatsApp number through it, the business accepts them.

1. The service

The integration connects a business's WhatsApp Business number to its Odoo system through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. It lets the business send and receive WhatsApp messages from Odoo, and keep its WhatsApp Business app contacts and chats in sync.

2. Your account

You must be authorised to connect the WhatsApp number and Meta business account you use. You are responsible for who has access to your Odoo system and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Your responsibilities

• Follow Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms, WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy.
• Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and respect opt-out requests.
• Do not send spam, illegal content or content that infringes others' rights.
• Make sure you have a lawful basis to process your customers' data, and tell them how you use it.

4. Meta's platform

The service depends on Meta. Meta may change, limit or suspend WhatsApp features, message limits, pricing or your account at any time. Meta charges for some messages directly, under its own pricing. We are not responsible for Meta's decisions or outages.

5. Fees

Fees for the integration are set in your agreement or order with Kites Development. Meta's messaging charges are separate unless your agreement says otherwise.

6. Data

You own your data. We handle it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update the integration, for example when Meta changes its platform, and will give notice of changes that materially affect you.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your number. We may suspend or end the service if you break these terms or Meta's policies, or if Meta requires it. On termination, the data deletion steps in our Privacy Policy apply.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes go to the courts of Giza, Egypt.
